BALI TO LOMBOK & GILI ISLANDS BY FAST BOAT

Lombok Island offers tourists a vast array of activities, sites, adventures and destinations. Whether you like to have a relaxing beach vacation, an action-packed adventure trek, favorite daily tours, surfing in the best swell, sea kayaking or a crazy time in and on the water, Lombok is your ideal destination.

 

The are numerous fast boats operated between Bali and Gili islands, Lombok, such Gili Cat, Blue Water Express, Eka Jaya and Gili-gili. These fast boats are faster than the ferry but more expensive then flying. The Blue Water Express depart daily from Benoa Harbor, near Kuta Bali direct to Teluk Nare and Gili Trawangan of Lombok, while Gili Cat and Eka Jaya depart from Padang Bai. Mahi mahi fast boat is no longer operates from Pulau Serangan, Sanur to Gili islands, since 2008.

 

1. THE GILI CAT FAST BOAT FROM PADANG BAI TO GILI ISLANDS (DIRECT)

 

Gili Cat, a small Australian made fast boat, departs from Padang Bai Bali at 09:00 AM every day and takes about two and a half hours to Gili Trawangan, as well as Teluk Kodek Lombok. The boat leaves Gili Trawangan at 11:30 and sail back to Bali from the mainland at 12:15 PM.

 

Gili Cat is a fiberglass catamaran built in Australia to international survey standard. The 12 m vessel is powered by twin Suzuki 250hp four stroke engines and capable of cruising comfortably at 30 knots, with seat's capacity of 16 passengers under cover. This fast boat will get you there in the minimum time, and as dry as when you stepped on the boat. There is ample room to stow luggage and each passenger is allowed a two bags. This fast boat also equipped with the latest safety features and equipment, and a SOLAS standard life preserver for every passenger.

 

2. EKA JAYA FAST BOAT FROM PADANG BAI TO GILI ISLANDS (DIRECT)

 

Eka Jaya fast Boat is one of the fast boat operated between Bali to Gili Islands and Lombok, With all international standard of safety, provide a reliable services from Bali to Gili Trawangan Lombok with the shortest possible sea crossing approximately 60 minutes. Departs daily from Padang Bai Bali at 08:15 AM, arrive in Gili Trawangan and Teluk Kodek Lombok at 09:30AM. The boat leaves Gili Trawangan at 10:30 and arrive in Padang Bai at 11:30 AM.

3. BLUE WATER EXPRESS FROM BENOA BALI TO GILI ISLANDS (DIRECT)

 

Blue Water Express now has three units of fast boat. The BWE I, BWE II, and BWE III, a 13.5m, 24-seat passenger vessel, custom designed to serve the route from Bali to the Gili Islands and Lombok. With 3 x 200HP engines, she cruises at around 30knots and covers the distance Benoa Harbor to the gilis in under 2,5 hours.

 

It has a spacious sun-deck on the roof, and are fully equipped with international safety equipment, including life-jackets, auto-inflating life-rafts, distress flares, GPS / depth sounders, VHF radio, ring buoys.

 

Blue Water Express leaves Benoa harbor in Bali at 08:00 AM for the three Gili, Trawangan, Meno and Air. The Blue Water Express departs from Gili Trawangan at 12:00.

 

NOTE:

All services are subject to weather conditions, and the trip across the Lombok Strait can get quite bumpy

 

4. Gili-Gili Fast Boat  From BALI TO GILI ISLANDS (DIRECT) and Return

 

Gili-Gili fast Boat is one of the fast boat serves routes Bali (Benoa, Nusa Dua) to Gili Trawangan and return every day. Departures from Tanjung Benoa at 08.30am and the shuttle from the hotel 07.00-08.00am, arriving at 10.30am or 11.00am Lombok (when in the travel 2 .5 hours). Start at 12.00am  from Gili Trawangan and Lombok (Telok Kodek) at 12.15pm (check inshould be ready  30 minutes before depart in all ports).

 

This ship is equipped with three engines with power 300pk /engine. Maximum speed of 35 knots per hour, with a capacity of 32 passengers. This ship is based procedure international safety standards, such as the provision of life jackets, GPS, Radio Contact, life craft, life ring, and other facilities such as toilets, baggage (located on the front).

Available on the sun deck is equipped mat, full music, Lcd Tv for movie playback, reclining seats, in the same provide for a hangover, the trash box. This boat also provides a box meal, fresh towels, mineral water, coffee or tea is available prior to departure. Other services are: pickup / delivery free of charge from / to an area of Kuta, Legian, Sanur, Seminyak, Denpasar, Kerobokan, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, and Ubud (with extra cost).
