Fishing in Lombok

Lombok has so many fish in the water. Local traditional fishermen still using very simple equipment with small outrigger traditionally wooden boat (sampan) with sail, though a few professionals and expats have good branded equipment.    

Good spots for fishing in Lombok are: The south west of Lombok ahead towards Bangko-bangko (Desert Point), opposite Nusa Penida (Bali) recommended as one of the best for trolling and deep fishing, while places in the North West of Lombok, a little far out behind the Gili Islands as known by locals as takat (sea wall) good for both trolling and deep fishing. 

Fishing charter using traditional outrigger motorized boat available for half day or full day use. Mostly, the fishing trip does not includes equipment, even so, they might provide simple type of fishing equipment which local's use to it, but guests might not. If you have your own, we suggest you to bring them.

Type of fishing available are: trolling & deep fishing. Lombok Network Holidays can arrange half day or full day fishing trip at reasonable rates. Please keep in mind that you are using traditional motorized outrigger boat, that's mean there will be no toilet, nor cabin, but the fishing itself should be fun because Lombok has a lot of fishes.
