"The Bali Blast"
Bali Has Again Been Hit by Series of
Bombing.
Lombok, October 2nd 2005
Bali is crying again. Series of bombing had happened in Jimbaran Bay
and Kuta Square, Bali Indonesia.

The blast at the two places at
almost the same time has killed total of 32 people and injured
over hundred of people.
The first blast was at Raja's Restaurant Kuta Square at 19.42
local time and has destroyed the building up to radius of 15
meters. It killed 2 persons and injured 9 people. |
The death's victim identified as I wayan Sudika, a security personel
at Raja's Restaurant and another one still unidentified. All the
vitims were evacuated to Graha Asih Hospital and Sanglah Hospital.
Another 2 blasts was at Jimbaran bay, where all the seafood
on-the-beach restaurants are located. The first bomb at Jimbaran was
in the area of Nyoman Cafe and Menega Cafe, followed by another
blast from the beach area where all the open-air restaurants and
cafes serving their guests for the weekend.
Just in time, 10 minutes after the blast, the evacuation & rescue
team arrived.
Bali Head Police Department I Made Mangku Pastika visit the area and
directly lead the investigation. A spokesman for the Indonesian
Foreign Ministry, Marty Natalagawa, says an investigation to find
those responsible for the attacks is already under way.
