Just
want to say a million thanks for the splendid
arrangement! Our heartfelt thanks to our guide Pak Etra
and porter Pak Wahid, without them - the climb to the
summit was quite impossible. Also to those humble
porters, Kurniawan being one of them and the rest of the
gangs. Not forgetting the jovial Pak Saiful and Pak
Gatot the driver for being so accommodative and
informative. They showed their professionalism and their
concern when we needed one. Please convey our deepest
gratitude. It was a priceless experience and we will
never forget them. Look forward to doing more climbing
with Lombok Network!

My friends Liz
Feit, Carmen Aquilin, Danielle Taylor, Ami Phillips and I were
fortunate to take the Mount Rinjani Lake & Summit Trek November 5th
- 8th by Lombok Networks. It was a wonderful trip and were love that
we were able to take it. Please see the attached document with
further comments and concerns.
We feel as the
operators working in the Mount Rinjani Park you care about the
environment and understand it is up to the users to make a
difference. Setting up with other operators burn schedules for the
garbage and working with government towards proper maintenance of
the park facilities is mutually beneficial. With some care taken to
the park, we know it will continue to successfully draw an
international crowd to enjoy its beauty.

I (Lim Ah Peng) from Singapore like to appreciate and thank Mahsun
who was my guide during my recent trekking trip to Mt Rinjani
(3D/2N) from 26 oct -28 Oct. Mahsun was an outstanding guide during
my trip . Although the trek up to Mt Rinjani was tough , he has
rendered great service in terms of cooking great meals during the
trip, ensuring the tents are done properly and took care of me
during the trek especially i have some difficulties on the last day
of trek. He was very customer focus throughout the journey which
made my trek very unforgettable."

"We recently did the trek up Mt Rinjani (April 4 - 8, 2010).
We just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone that we met for a
wonderful experience and holiday on Lombok.
I'm sorry that I can't name you all but to the guide and driver who
met us at the airport on April 4th and then drove us out to Sembalun.
And to the guide and driver from Senaru back to the Jayakarta Hotel
on Thursday 8th and then to the airport on Friday 9th April. And
especially our trekking guide Ritrawadi and the porters, Marhan and
Edot.
Everyone was so polite, efficient and friendly. From the first
contact by email until the end, your company organised our trip to
Lombok very well. We would most definitely recommend you to anyone
who is planning a holiday to Lombok.
It was very exciting on Mt Rinjani - a challenging trek and ascent
but we were well looked after by our guide. He was very attentive
and helpful to us at all times. And the volcano erupted several
times while we were there which was thrilling.
I have actually posted a parcel over to your office - it is
addressed to Ritrawadi, our guide from Sembalun. I would very
grateful if the parcel could be delivered to him next time a driver
is heading to Sembalun.
Once again, thank you to everyone who helped organise and make our

"My trip to Lombok last week was awesome. the
kids, teachers and my self were treated like kings and queens
throughout the whole trip. Sun and Wayan are very efficient and
professional. they had done a fantastic job to ensure the safety,
accommodation and good food for us. Even though I'm back to
Singapore, I'm still lingering at sweet memories back there. I want
to thank them for training the porters so well for giving us
delicious, clean and well decorated food! it's just beyond words!
high up in the mountain and we have this 8 star hotel service! they
cleaned every plates, forks, spoon, and cups before serving us with
the food. they washed them with boiled water after we had consumed
our food. I'm just fanastinated by the effort they had put in. I
appreciate all their work to make us so comfortable even though we
were in the mountain. i wanted to thank "Superman" too for leading
the kids and myself all the way to the summit. I want to thank him
for his patience and encouragement. without his help, we wouldn't
have made it.
The local school that we visited welcomed us with drums and music.
Villages chief, principal, teachers, adult and kids welcomed us with
open arms. they were formally dressed and really made me feel like a
Queen! I'm lost for word. the food prepared by them were delicious
too. The interaction with them was meaningful. The traditional dance
they shared with us were an eye-opener for us. They even took the
effort to prepare campfire and dance with us. this is my first time
in my life that I felt so welcomed. please thank the school for us."

"I'd like to write a few lines just to let you know that we are
absolutely glad we joined your Rinjani Trek from 24-28 June.
Everything was wonderful and we were most impressed with the
logistics and the organization. Most of all, we were delighted with
the treatment received by our guide and porters, who worked always
really hard and made us feel like being in a five star hotel all the
time, honouring us with all kind of attentions and warmth. The food
was abundant and their cooking was delicious and amazingly well
presented. Despite their extremely hard work they were always
cheerful and had a kind smile for everybody. It was a real pleasure
enjoying their company.
I think your organization fulfills all the standards and
expectations, nevertheless, it would say much about it if the staff
would be provided with appropriate equipment to bear the hardest
conditions of their work, such as protection against the cold
weather (warm cloths and sleeping bags) and made them feel prouder
and happier with their work. They are the greatest hard working and
honest people we met in Lombok and I think they deserve to improve
their work conditions as much as possible.
Apart from that we had such an unforgettable experience and enjoyed
so much the amazing nature that surrounded us during those days in
Lombok. We'll carry a little portion of lovely Lombok forever in our
hearts.
