PLACES TO EAT IN SENGGIGI

There are numbers of good quality of restaurants and small cafes in central town of Senggigi. You can eat pretty well in Senggigi with reasonable price. Most of the places to stay have their own restaurant, but few other eateries along the main road in the centre of the strip are worth to try. There's not much at bottom end of the scale.

Locals warungs seems to be priced out. Senggigi area is developing and there are some new foreign investors take over some places to upgrade its facilities. Old places renovated or branded new, and several new places coloring the main street of Senggigi.

Tips & suggestions:

If you like the Italian food like pizza from wood oven, try Basillico Restaurant in Senggigi Beach Hotel, exotic place to have dinner while enjoying the sunset.

This restaurant located in the beach area of Senggigi Beach Hotel. Cafe Alberto is also a great place to chill out with Italian specialties, a bit better, and a bit pricier than standard tourist fare.

For the more romantic atmosphere, try also Alang alang Restaurant, located in Mangsit near Purimas Boutique Hotel.

South of the town centre, hiding from the central of activities, Cafe Wayan, related to the famous Cafe Wayan Ubud (Bali) which is recommended for its chicken curry and homemade bread and yummy dessert. If you are a family traveling together, try Asmara Restaurant near the Art Market of Senggigi which has high quality of European Food.

If you like local Indonesian foods, try also Nasi Goreng at Warung Cak Poer. Open from 19:00PM till late night. Closed during the day time. More excellent quality Indonesian foods are available in Mataram City at very reasonable rates. Taxi service available 24 hours.

Most restaurants and cafes offer free roundtrip pick up service from and to hotels anywhere in senggigi area.
